Plans and credits
There are three plans: Free, Premium and Pro. Every ApplyKite Twin tool works on every plan. Plans differ in what you can open and how many credits you get for ApplyKite Twin.

Premium and Pro are paid monthly or yearly. Paying yearly gives you about 7 months free. You see the prices in your own currency on the Plans page in your dashboard: select your plan at the bottom of the left menu, or go to Settings → Plan and billing.
How credits work
Credits are what ApplyKite Twin uses as it works for you. Each message uses credits by its size, counted exactly. A short message like "thanks" uses a fraction of a credit; long answers, deeper thinking and long documents use more. Your balance shows whole credits.
Searching, browsing and opening positions, scholarships and professors don't use credits. What you can open depends on your plan (see the table above).

- The day starts at midnight (UTC) and the month on the 1st.
- Unused credits don't carry over.
See what you have left
- The gauge in the ApplyKite Twin message box shows the credits left today and this month, and when they reset.
- Settings → Usage shows your credits and how you've used them.
When you run out
You see "You're out of credits for now" with what you can do:
- Wait: your credits come back when the limit resets. The countdown shows when.
- Upgrade: on Free, Pro has no daily limit, and Premium has no monthly limit. On Premium, Pro gives you 800 credits a month with no daily limit.

Booster AI Credit
The Booster AI Credit adds 300 credits when you need more than your plan gives, for example in a busy week before a deadline. It's for Premium and Pro members and is paid once.
Booster credits are used only after your plan's credits run out. They're kept for 12 months.
Changing your plan
- Upgrading: you can move from Premium to Pro at any time. Pro starts as soon as you pay and replaces Premium, which stops renewing.
- Monthly to yearly: you can move to yearly billing on the same plan. The yearly plan starts when the month you've paid for ends.
- Downgrading isn't available: you can't move from Pro to Premium, or from yearly to monthly, while your plan is active. To move to a lower plan, stop it renewing and choose the new plan once it has ended.
Questions
Does my plan renew? Monthly plans renew every month until you stop them: go to Settings → Plan and billing, and your plan stays active until the end of the month you've paid for. Annual plans are paid once for 12 months and don't renew. If you pay in toman (card-to-card), it's a one-off payment and doesn't renew.
Can I get a refund? No. All payments are final and non-refundable, including monthly renewals, annual plans, upgrades, the Booster AI Credit and any unused time or credits. Stopping your plan renewing doesn't refund what you've already paid. See our Terms. If you think you were charged in error, email [email protected].
I have an older Pro plan or a pass. It keeps working until its end date, with the same access and credits as Pro. When it ends, you can choose a plan.
What happens when my plan ends? You move to Free. Everything you made is kept: your profile, roadmap, Tracker, chats and documents.
