Your roadmap
Your roadmap is your application, step by step: every stage from finding where to apply to your visa, with the tasks in each. It's made for your level and the countries you chose, and it keeps up as you go.
An example.
Open it from Roadmap in the left menu, or View roadmap on your Home.
The five stages
- Find where to apply: your shortlist of universities, programmes or professors.
- English test: the test and score you need, and when to take it.
- Documents: your CV, statement, proposal, references and transcripts.
- Apply and interview: each application, and preparing for interviews.
- Visa and moving: your visa, money and travel.
Select a stage to see its tasks and dates. Tick a task when it's done.
If you chose Apply For Me, the team finds where to apply with you, so that stage isn't there and the team's tasks are shown under Apply and interview.
Keep it up to date
- Ask the Twin: select Update my roadmap in ApplyKite Twin, or tell it what changed, for example "I've got my IELTS result: 7.0" or "Add a task to ask Dr Smith for a reference." It adds and completes tasks for you.
- Rebuild: if your goals change, rebuild your roadmap from Home → Edit goals. Tasks you've finished or added yourself are kept.
Plan my week
Not sure what to do this week? Select Plan my week in ApplyKite Twin, or ask "What should I do this week?" The Twin turns your roadmap and deadlines into the next few steps.
Your next step and upcoming tasks are also on your Home.
