Find funded positions

ApplyKite gathers funded PhD, Master's and Postdoc positions from university websites, job boards and the posts academics share on LinkedIn and X. Duplicates are merged, expired positions are marked, and every position links to its official source.

Search positions worldwide

Open Opportunities in the left menu.

Your search starts from your profile:

  • Your research area appears as a keyword in the search box. Results are the positions closest to it by meaning, not only those with the same words. Remove it or type your own words to search for something else.
  • Your countries are shown in the heading, for example "in Germany, United Kingdom". Select Search all countries to see everywhere.
  • Your level (PhD, Master's or Postdoc) is set from your goals. Change it at the top of the page.

Use the filters to narrow the list, for example by university, by positions with a named professor, or by positions you haven't opened yet.

Open a position

A position page shows the project, the funding, the requirements, how to apply, the deadline and the official links. Beside it, the ApplyKite Twin box can check your eligibility or draft an email or a cover letter.

Credits: searching and browsing the list are free. Positions from university websites and job boards are free to open. Positions shared on LinkedIn and X take 1 credit the first time you open them. Opening one again is free. See Plans and credits.

Track it

Select Track to add the position to your Tracker, then set its status as you go: Sent email, Applied, Interview…

Spotted a problem? Select Report a problem on the position, for example if it's expired, the link is broken or it isn't in your field.

Get new positions by email

Set up an opportunity alert and new matching positions come to your inbox.

Questions

Why don't I see positions in my field? Check your research area and countries at the top of the page, or select Search all countries. Try describing your field in different words: search works by meaning.

Is a position still open? We mark positions as expired after their deadline. Always confirm on the official page before you apply.
